About the Service
Your Responsibilities
By using Orolane, you confirm that:
- You are authorised to submit the content on behalf of yourself or your organisation.
- All content submitted is accurate, truthful, and does not contain misleading claims.
- Your content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
- Your content does not contain defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful material.
- Your content is not promotional material for illegal products, services, or activities.
- You will provide complete and accurate contact and billing information.
We reserve the right to reject or remove any submission that violates these standards without notice or refund.
Payments & Distribution
Distribution of your content requires full payment before any media placement occurs. The process is as follows:
- You submit your content and our team reviews it.
- We send you a customised invoice based on your selected outlets and content type.
- Distribution begins only after payment is confirmed via Paystack.
All prices are in Nigerian Naira (NGN). Payments are processed securely through Paystack. Invoices are non-transferable and relate to the specific submission they were issued for.
Refunds are available only if we are unable to distribute your content due to circumstances on our side. Refunds are not issued once distribution has commenced.
No Guarantee of Placement
While we work diligently to place your content with our media partners, Orolane does not guarantee:
- Publication on any specific outlet or publication
- A specific publication date or timeline
- The position, format, or visibility of published content
- Any minimum level of readership, reach, or engagement
Editorial decisions rest with the respective media organisations. We will make reasonable efforts to fulfil your submission but cannot override third-party editorial policies.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orolane Commstech Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our platform
- Loss of business, revenue, or reputation resulting from media coverage or the lack thereof
- Delays, errors, or omissions in content distribution
- Actions or decisions made by third-party media organisations
Our total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific submission in question.
Account Suspension & Termination
Orolane reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently close access to any account or submission at our sole discretion, including where:
- There is reasonable suspicion of fraud or misrepresentation
- Content violates these Terms or applicable law
- Payment disputes or chargebacks are initiated without valid grounds
- A user repeatedly submits content that is rejected by our media partners
